Isaiah 63:16 the Israelites called out the Lord of heavens saying ‘*for you are our father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us; you, O LORD, are our father. Our Redeemer from of old is your name.’ * We see the Israelites calling and crying out to the LORD as ‘Abba father’ though they were not known by Abraham and Israel as a whole. How many times do you say the word ‘Abba father or dear God I love you, I adore you when you’re in trouble? Are you that kind of a person who rushes to God and blame him for what he hasn't done for you? How many times do you alter the word ‘Abba father’ when you’re praying or when you’re praying you just demand him of that perfect meal you didn't get, the car you haven’t bought, that good looking house you haven’t built? We see Jesus in all his prayers referring to God as Abba father. Mark 14:36 *and He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what you will.*” Remember Christ is our Lord because through him we become children of God. Mathew 5:45’ *that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust*. If we understand Jesus well, we will get all that we want ‘seek and you will find, ask and it will be given to you.’ Jeremiah 3:4 ‘*Will you not from this time cry to Me My Father, You* are *the guide of my youth?’ * Cry to him and he will answer you and through the Lord’s Prayer we obtain each and everything we want Mathew 6:9-13

  • ‘Our Father in heaven,*

  • Hallowed be Your name. *10 *Your kingdom come.*

  • Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. *11 *Give us this day our daily bread.* 12 *And forgive us our debts,*

  • As we forgive our debtors. *13 *And do not lead us into temptation,*

  • But deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen*.
