Uganda is struggling with insurmountable problems; orphans, abused and abandoned children are languishing on streets, in remand homes or siblings headed households. Hundreds of children are abandoned in orphanages by well- meaning poor parents and extended family members out of desperation. And as VCM we take such moments as the most privileged ones to rescue them because we believe that such children needs more than something to eat and deserve a place of their own to call a home thus mounting their ability to live and thrive regardless of their status and life backgrounds.

As its noted that without early prevention of grieve and early intervention the side effects are often irreversible because Children who grow up unattached to a parent figure always become fearful of making meaningful relationships which makes it hard to the fabric of foster homes to perform our duties in thousands of such broken suspitable children. However it's taken to be that harder, but to us we still stand in position and provide reliable strategies such that we transform those victims from feeling meaningless into purposeful people.

OUR STRATEGIES.

As Vangrace Compassion Ministries, we work together with the Local Council Leaders and community members of various communities to identify orphans, abandoned and abused children in reachable communities who are in need of care and protection thus proper and well planning of our rescue process with our full curiosity to support the rightful people who really hang out there for help.

Street children also matter; In our process we also emphasise that all vulnerable lives matter, regardless of who they're, where they come from, their disabilities and street life's rocky start. They all deserve their rights and their lives are paramount.

Once a child is rescued we give them great assurance that they deserve more than a home but a loving and caring family and we ensure brotherhood and sisterhood bond in them such that they grow up in unity not thinking that they're just with us to grow and leave but to make them aware that it's their permanent family and home as well where they can dream big and live to reach the desired higher levels in life.

we work hard and harder to manifest all their dreams into reality by sharing with them encouragement messages letting them know that their past has no greater deal with their future but was just a step to achieve their best wishes in life and also making them aware that their future and education is paramount regardless of their rocky start in life.

Besides the above, Hearty Warm Welcomes when brought to our lovely home of God's Village and always given a chance to interact with the fellow siblings, a bedroom and the assurance provision of all the necessitated basic needs which includes clothes, food, education, medication and shelter as well. All the above mentioned steps as small as they may seem, they are crucial in restoring their dignity, self worth and hope restoration.

THE IMPACT.

Healing begins when such injured children find a family to belong to. A safe place for them to call their own, to help them believe, dream big, achieve and thrive. Thus getting their deserved rights and basic needs as well. Once rescued, parental love and care is a great assurance through parent- child interactions and talks and this we have got real proof from our rescued children and we would love you to meet one of our foster daughter's life stories. "please meet me and please read me am Foster Fatiah's story" I'm Fatiah, I'm a victim of vulnerable and before i never had hope of living till now because i used to get worried of what to eat whenever it gets morning and more worried of where to sleep when it gets night because no one was concerned, i had futureless dreams but now i have a loving family, siblings and parents who loves and care for me and i'm now growing and living healthy life.

RESCUE A VULNERABLE CHILD AS WELL AS SUPPORTING THE RESCUED ONES TOO.

Based on Statistics 2016, Uganda had an estimated number of orphans which takes up a total of more than 2 million increase each year, 60 million of abandoned acceleration every year, this proves that though we have the rescued ones who still need more help and support, we still have a bigger pending assignment of laying all the other possible strategies intended to decrease the accelerating number of susptable lives in Africa.
