Each volunteer has got countless ways to make a difference. A number of them Chose and decided to offer the needed help to VCM in fulfilling the Rescue, Nurture and Raise thus giving a lasting impact and hope to the broken hearted vulnerable children in Uganda pearl of Africa.
Once you sponsor a Volunteer at VCM, you help us provide nutrition, sartorial, medical care, and a home so our dear volunteers such that they can attain the whole thing they requisite to elevate their lives thus feeling adored and self-respect. Neighborhood Mothers

MEET ODARA DINAH.
Mrs. Dinah is 36 year old mother of six children 4 with different fathers and the last two to one father, Dinah says she was earlier alone judged by various people calling her various names including mud, stupid, adulterous and so many other names because they didn’t know why she was living in such a situation of having many children each one with another father and according to our analyses Dinah went through a lot as she was growing up including extreme poverty and as a result she didn’t get a chance to go to school thus getting impregnated at a younger age which marked the beginning of her the total suffering since she was dropped by the called so husband while pregnant of her first bone.
And the situation kept on worsening each and every day and as the only way to survive she decided to move in with another man but also did the same and she kept on living such a miserable life. Though later alone she got someone to call a permanent husband but sadly he’s drunken and not even taking care of his family and when VCM learned about her story we decided to come across her and embrace her with the love of God and now she can at least take care of her children. Your generosity can help us restore dignity in many Uganda’s vulnerable women and single mothers thus providing for them a better way of living and thriving.

MAMA BIRUNGI
Mama Birungi is an incredible mother who showers children with utmost love that’s unforgettable.
And she always narrates that she really love children and she believe they are our future, additionally she says that if you really in love with children you should be just like them And indeed she is so happy and blessed to share the love of a mother with these priceless children.
MAMA DEBORAH.
Mama Deborah is a 64 old year incredible earlier alone single mother who was later welcomed as our lovely mother into God’s Village family of VCM and now always showers these precious innocent little ones with unlimited love and the only thing she cherry-picked to do is to give a motherly unconditional love to our children and indeed she’s one of the heartbeat of our families.
Undeniably she’s such a virtuous mother due to her characters and extra duties she performs, besides her motherly duties she also holds an aunt heart for these children and she always spends time and shares with them how a successful person must behave and how to handle various circumstances in life. And all she wants is to give an everlasting joy, happiness and impact to these children.
RAISE
Vangrace Compassion Ministries plans and ensures the growth, development, rightful upbringing of foster children, working hard to ensure that all the rescued children reach at the highest desired levels of life with physical developments as well. Promoting their growth and development is a great assurance since it's the clarified way of washing a way their long rusted sorrowful brains and in thy process, inputting new positive ideas in them.
IT TAKES A FAMILY BOND TO RAISE A CHILD.
A sense of belonging is derived from the close bond of a family. God’s Village Family {Lead by Papa Ivan and Mama Prossy Ssewankambo} is where our roots take hold and from there we grow, we are moulded within a unit, which prepare us for what we will experience in the world and how we react to the experiences. and that’s how close our family is like where we find refuge. From trusting that someone will pick us up when we fall.
We raise our foster children in such a way that we do not even give them a chance to think that where they're, are in a foster home and foster family but instead make them feel as their concrete Biological Family. Sisterhood and brotherhood sense is always the key paramount emphasis when raising them because we believe family bonds help them know that someone is always there for them as they experience storms in life And besides the above raising a child takes the heart of admitting the truth of standing in the feet of biological parents not foster one and carrying a heart of unity inside of you, Not only that but raising them also needs someone who is ready to do whatever just like Papa Ivan and Mama Prossy Ssewankambo as it's said that a healthy parent leads to a healthy family.

NURTURE
it's not uncommon for vulnerable children to arrive in foster care with low-self esteem and a lack of self confidence due to previous circumstances that make them think they are unworthy of dreaming big thus owning an ideal environment in their mind set and they're taken to have damaged mindset that needs someone's admission, self willingness and readiness to play a great role intended to nurture their lost mindset into perfect thinking.
Vangrace Compassion Ministries hold higher chances of influencing our foster children for the better by boosting sheltered confidence and rebuild self-esteem such that they get to follow a more successful path in life thus getting aware that nothing they're not worthy of.
And it's always noticed that because children haven't had an optimal start in life doesn't mean they shouldn't achieve the necessary steps for later success and in this its our concern to give assurance to their dreams into reality. "please read me as you enjoy me i'm called Charles’ inspiring dream" hello everyone am Charlse i'm 13 years and earlier alone i never had a dream to tell not even given a chance to dream big not even thinking of who i may become in future because i never had hope in education even my life journey was hopeless but ever since i was rescued i got a drizzling dream to tell the world and endless hope of achieving since my foster parents are always working hard to see that i achieve it one day and ever since my rescue i got a dream of being an engineer and due to VCM’s existence i'm chasing it with no fear but determination since i was given courage by my dear parents that my education also matters and i have proved that nurturing my dream is my parents daily assignment they always work upon and i'm sure the world will have to see Engineer Charles one day regardless of my rocky start in life, thanks Dad Ivan and Mum Prossy Ssewankambo for always nurturing me into a better person i really love the way you care for me and my dream as well.
RESCUE
Uganda is struggling with insurmountable problems; orphans, abused and abandoned children are languishing on streets, in remand homes or siblings headed households. Hundreds of children are abandoned in orphanages by well- meaning poor parents and extended family members out of desperation. And as VCM we take such moments as the most privileged ones to rescue them because we believe that such children needs more than something to eat and deserve a place of their own to call a home thus mounting their ability to live and thrive regardless of their status and life backgrounds.
As its noted that without early prevention of grieve and early intervention the side effects are often irreversible because Children who grow up unattached to a parent figure always become fearful of making meaningful relationships which makes it hard to the fabric of foster homes to perform our duties in thousands of such broken suspitable children. However it's taken to be that harder, but to us we still stand in position and provide reliable strategies such that we transform those victims from feeling meaningless into purposeful people.
OUR STRATEGIES.
As Vangrace Compassion Ministries, we work together with the Local Council Leaders and community members of various communities to identify orphans, abandoned and abused children in reachable communities who are in need of care and protection thus proper and well planning of our rescue process with our full curiosity to support the rightful people who really hang out there for help.
Street children also matter; In our process we also emphasise that all vulnerable lives matter, regardless of who they're, where they come from, their disabilities and street life's rocky start. They all deserve their rights and their lives are paramount.
Once a child is rescued we give them great assurance that they deserve more than a home but a loving and caring family and we ensure brotherhood and sisterhood bond in them such that they grow up in unity not thinking that they're just with us to grow and leave but to make them aware that it's their permanent family and home as well where they can dream big and live to reach the desired higher levels in life.
we work hard and harder to manifest all their dreams into reality by sharing with them encouragement messages letting them know that their past has no greater deal with their future but was just a step to achieve their best wishes in life and also making them aware that their future and education is paramount regardless of their rocky start in life.
Besides the above, Hearty Warm Welcomes when brought to our lovely home of God's Village and always given a chance to interact with the fellow siblings, a bedroom and the assurance provision of all the necessitated basic needs which includes clothes, food, education, medication and shelter as well. All the above mentioned steps as small as they may seem, they are crucial in restoring their dignity, self worth and hope restoration.
THE IMPACT.
Healing begins when such injured children find a family to belong to. A safe place for them to call their own, to help them believe, dream big, achieve and thrive. Thus getting their deserved rights and basic needs as well. Once rescued, parental love and care is a great assurance through parent- child interactions and talks and this we have got real proof from our rescued children and we would love you to meet one of our foster daughter's life stories. "please meet me and please read me am Foster Fatiah's story" I'm Fatiah, I'm a victim of vulnerable and before i never had hope of living till now because i used to get worried of what to eat whenever it gets morning and more worried of where to sleep when it gets night because no one was concerned, i had futureless dreams but now i have a loving family, siblings and parents who loves and care for me and i'm now growing and living healthy life.
RESCUE A VULNERABLE CHILD AS WELL AS SUPPORTING THE RESCUED ONES TOO.
Based on Statistics 2016, Uganda had an estimated number of orphans which takes up a total of more than 2 million increase each year, 60 million of abandoned acceleration every year, this proves that though we have the rescued ones who still need more help and support, we still have a bigger pending assignment of laying all the other possible strategies intended to decrease the accelerating number of susptable lives in Africa. But it should be always remembered that a greater dream can't be built by one person but it needs joined strength to be mastered, built and achieved. and with no doubt your standing with VCM is of a paramount value towards children Rescue/ Nurture and Raise with no limit you can take action to support and rescue a child, supporting nurturing or raising a child with us, you can donate with a support of your choice, a gift of your wish regardless of its size small or big, cheap or expensive, each gift and donation creates a great difference in foster lives. you can support on a daily basis or a monthly basis depending on how the spirit of God leads you.
