Vangrace Compassion Ministries believes that there are many ways to Get Involved and all are important to raising a unify generation in Christ and transforming lives of orphan and vulnerable children hence impacting Uganda and East Africa communities at large. Are you abroad or within Uganda? If you are a broad its beyond a trip to Uganda but a great journey and exploitation because Vangrace has no limit in welcoming all the willing volunteers from the entire world therefor with high pleasure, we are calling upon kind hearted individuals, Churches, organization to partner with us Each year if possible with teams of people to travel to Uganda and come take part in ministry projects, construction projects or to offer medical care to the orphans and those serving them and all have an opportunity to share the love of Christ with those who don’t yet know Him. Each trip is an opportunity to grow spiritually, to gain an awareness of the desperate needs outside their circle of friends and family, and to serve unselfishly those less fortunate. We look forward to introducing teams from around the world to the amazing work that God is doing through the ministry of Vangrace Compassion Ministries!

And every month we take a moment to recognize our volunteers, appreciate them for the great work they are doing and make them feel rewarded and appreciated. Giving them a thank you message may seem to be that small but creates a great impact in their lives too thus encouraging them to volunteer with more effort. And we have got various volunteers serving in various sectors as below.

SCHOOL VOLUNTEERSHIP

Giving education to foster children is one of the best gifts we can ever offer to them that can leave a great lasting impact in their lives forever hence total life transformation. And blessed is our God, who has blessed us with Vangrace Academy a foster school of Vangrace Compassion Ministries that’s providing education to all the reachable susceptible children and in doing this there’re so many people that always stand with us to make foster educational happen and we would love you meet one of our foster education volunteers who have worked with us for quite a long time and still with us as well MRS. Mugabi Harriet and meeting her teaching can feel the real test and goodness in education of education and can you believe for the years she has been with us her life charged totally. Hope someone there would love to volunteer with Vangrace in educating foster children and remember your presence in their lives is of a multipurpose value.

HOME VOLUNTEERSHIP

God’s Village of Vangrace Compassion Ministries is a caring foster home that takes care of more than 270 orphans and abandoned children in Uganda Africa. And since they had gone through lack of parental love and care for along time they tend to need serious provision of prenatal love and this can only be fulfilled through sparing time for them. And though Mama Prossy and Daddy Ivan are always there for them they still need more than a mother and a father but someone else to feel the full set of the family and in doing this we’re with our dearly home volunteers to ensure that everything happens accordingly.

MEET BIRUNGI.

I’m Burungi and am volunteering with God’s Village of VCM and I choose the Children’s home project of volunteer-ship, because I want to give my time and attention to children and enjoy a cultural experience. I really love children and I believe they are our future. “The volunteer work experience in the foster homes is amazing. You have to learn so much, not only about the children also about yourself. The people in the orphanage are so friendly and thankful so it is much more easier to work there. At the first time I thought that home-children volunteering isn’t that easy but it goes unbelievable fast… I’m happy to have this kind of new experience and when you really in love with children you should do the same great experience that I have I also want to thank my Vangrace Compassion Ministries to be one of the care givers and indeed it’s such a blessing. I’m very happy because anyone is always reachable. In addition to that I want to say that Mama Prossy and Papa Ivan Ssewankambo always ensure a very comfortable feeling in our foster house and thanks for giving each and everyone a great open opportunity to volunteer with VCM in laying an everlasting impact in foster children.

MEET PASIKAZIYA

I’m Pasikaziya a victim of Rwanda’s civil wars as well as single mother to two children, were abandoned by their fathers at their younger age and we decided to migrate to Uganda looking for a refugee though we hard no one like a relative in Uganda and reaching in Bunjakko island life wasn’t that easy for a single mother like me to care of my family and to fulfill all the parental duties since we had no where even to sleep but them God served our lives through Vangrace Compassion Ministries and my son was rescued first and given a safe place of his own to dream big and he was living a futureless life her story changed into hopeful life journey since he was given education and still provided by every thing he needs in life, and later alone I also become part of God’s Village Family and now volunteering with home children projects but for the period I and my children become part of VCM we received a total change and everlasting hope and now our life story changed from homeless into a loving family.

And there’s nothing more great than volunteering with VCM because it’s a double impact work since we’re serving to impact vulnerable ones as well as our lives transformation. Hope you too choose to give a trip to VCM and volunteer with us and everlasting impact is a great Assurance.

FARM VOLUNTEERING.

One of many benefits of volunteering in farm work is getting educated on the elaborate process of how vegetables and fruits make it to our plates. Volunteers are doing their best to improve the quality of life of people living in our foster village, which is a very rewarding experience. And as our foster villages keeps on expanding into various foster caring homes we’re laying all the possible strategies to see that famine and lack of food get to be solved before our vulnerable communities die of hunger due to the rapid increased inflation in the world. And in this we came up with the idea of farm investment.
