This month, we are honored to shine a spotlight on an extraordinary individual whose passion and commitment continue to inspire us all—Mariam Nakibande, our Volunteer of the Month for February!
Mariam’s journey to our ministry is nothing short of remarkable. Coming from the far East of Uganda, she left behind her personal ambitions and traveled over 350 kilometers to join us at ‘God’s Village’, our ministry haven, dedicated to rescuing, nurturing, and raising God’s children. This bold decision was driven by her unwavering desire to serve the unprivileged, embodying the hands and feet of Jesus in action.
As a Ministry Caregiver, Mariam plays a vital role in ensuring that our child development programs run smoothly. She dedicates her time to helping put all our children's development programs into action, making sure that every child receives the care, guidance, and support they need. Her work amplifies our mission, ensuring that every orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable child in our care feels valued, supported, and loved.
What makes Mariam’s service even more inspiring is her hands-on approach. She doesn’t just assist behind the scenes—she actively engages with the children, mentoring them, comforting them, and guiding them with a heart full of compassion. Her ability to communicate warmth, encouragement, and faith has made a lasting impact on every child she encounters.
Mariam’s passion for holistic child development goes beyond daily duties. She believes in equipping these young souls with life skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging, helping them build a strong foundation for the future. Whether through organizing outreach programs, assisting in activities, or simply offering a listening ear, Mariam stands as a beacon of dedication.
